Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir consisting of those in High School or above is directed by Sheryl Grotenhuis. This choir sings during our morning worship services approximately once a month. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 and Sunday mornings at 11 AM. About twice a year we will substitute this choir with a "Male Chorus" or "Women's Choir".

Praise Teams

The purpose of our praise team is to assist in leading the congregation in corporate worship through music, scripture, and testimony.  Currently, we have approximately 60 members which allow us a variety in our teams and planning.  Our praise teams participate in the worship service every Sunday evening and 3 times a month during the morning service. Teams consist of vocalists, piano, synthesizer, guitars, bass, drums, and on occasion we have had the violin, saxophone, or even flute. Practices are held on Sunday mornings and evenings prior to the service.

Strings for the King

This orchestrated group of musicians has been a part of our worship for approximately 18 years under the direction of Laura Haverdink.  From as young as age 9 to, at one time, age 70, this group performs several times a year not only in our own church but at many other events in the community.

Master’s Ringers (Bell Choir)

Our 15 member bell choir has been ministering to our congregation since 1993.  This dedicated group, directed by Judy Vliestra and Jan Budden, has rehearsals every Monday evening at 7:00 and performs during our worship services approximately 9 times a year.  During the Christmas season they are usually asked to perform outside the church for different community events. Every other year the bell choir participates in a mass choir of about 5000.  This takes place at an area conference where they also learn many new techniques and have the opportunity to sight read new music.

His Voice

This is strictly a voluntary choir for youth in Middle School through High School.  Under the direction of Elaine Leusink, these 40+ students join together in song to lead us in worship about 4 times a year. Most of the vocalists join His Voice in the 6th grade and sing all 7 years until they become Seniors.

Children’s Choirs

Kid’s Praise consists of children in grades 1-5

Precious Jewels consist of children in Nursery, Preschool, and Kindergarten

All these choirs practice each Sunday prior to their Sunday School class for approximately 20 minutes.  Each of them perform about 4 times a year as well as during our annual Children’s Christmas Eve program.  They are introduced at a young age to many songs that we can use to glorify our great and mighty God.
